SCHEDULING :
Scheduling is the foundation of
project controls. Not only does it contribute to
the organization of the project, we also use it as
a dynamic tool of management. We draw up scheduling
& progress measurement procedures, update and
report progress and assist our clients in preparing
several levels of schedules, coordinating with the
different actors in the project.
Our engineers have experience with the leading
software products such as PRIMAVERA, OPEN PLAN,
PSx, MS PROJECT, etc...
We design and implement a work progress measurement
system in order to produce regular project status
reports that provide a reliable basis for trend
analysis.

COST CONTROL
:
Working in close cooperation with
our client's Scheduling and Finance teams, we model
the project, producing a breakdown, coding and
multi-level organization plan. This is used for
monitoring at all levels.
We build and maintain a rich database containing
budget estimates, dates & durations as well as
expenses & credits in order to produce
ergonomic and accurate reports of the project's
financial status at any moment. In addition to the
periodic trend analysis reports we supply, we also
identify problems areas and suggest corrective
actions. These tools allow project managers to
monitor their budget closely. Keeping track of the
actual progress of the work compared to the initial
scope of work allows us to maintain records of work
modifications and change orders. These records can
be used for budget revision or contract amendment
negotiation if needed.

AUDIT & CONSULTING
:
Sharing our knowledge is the best
way to make our expertise known and to gain our
clients' confidence. In addition to our ability to
carry out our designated missions, SIDEMI
consultants are above all qualified to
communicate.
At our clients' request, we evaluate various
aspects of their projects or departments either
internally or at their subcontractors and partners.
Organisation, progress, compliance with contract,
procedures and specification are our fields of
proficiency. After each audit we transmit to our
client a complete analysis report of the evaluated
function or project including documentation and
corrective actions. We perform an optional
post-audit mission to check on the implementation
of suggested actions.
For consulting operations, we assign an expert in
the requested field to our client's location. Prior
to starting his mission, and during the bidding
phase, our expert assist with specification and
planning, at no charge to the client. Once the
project is underway, the mission has three main
phases : analysis, solution design and report
preparation. The consultant may optionally may be
assigned to monitor the implementation of the
selected solutions.

INVESTORS :
SIDEMI consultants are skilled to
assist Investors managing and monitoring their
projects at all stages. From the conceptual study
to the final completion certificate, we assist
owner/investor in preparing bid package chapters
related to execution schedule and project control,
and in monitoring contractors closely during the
execution of the work. Our objective is to
anticipate, analyze progress and provide our client
with a reliable basis for his decisions.

CONTSTRUCTION ORGANIZATION,
PLANNING & COORDINATION :
Our project control experience in
various fields led SIDEMI to adopt rational and
efficient methods for executing the standard
missions of construction organization, planning and
coordination for civil construction projects
(O.P.C. in France).
Starting at the early FEED phase, we participate in
bid package preparation, then we assist the client
in bid analysis and technical and commercial
tabulation. During the construction phase, our
basic scope is scheduling and work monitoring, and
it can be extended to include preparation of
temporary site installation maps, drawings and
documents management, cost control and organization
of the health and safety committee.

MANAGEMENT
:
The success of a project depends on
the organizational plan in place before the work
starts. Document and information flow management is
one of the main aspects. Either for company
structure organization such as preparation for the
Quality Assurance Certification or for the needs of
a specific project, we assist our client in
choosing and implementing economical, reliable and
well-adapted solutions. Our technology monitoring
and expertise in the field of document management
tools (EDM, EIM, Publishing,... ) allow us to offer
a wide range of services that can be utilized
together or separately, including the following :
 Analysis of client needs,
procedures production / implementation and hardware
+ software recommendation for the management,
archiving and maintenance of the documents (hard
and soft copies) ;
 Installation of computer systems (hard & soft),
configuration and client personnel training ;

In-situ assignment of a technician for document scanning/converting and filing ;

Assignment of a skilled engineer for overall operation supervision ;

Reception of client documentation in our offices for scanning, filing,
publishing or CD-Rom/DVD-Rom (or any mass storage media) recording.
